About Fiza
BE YOUR OWN LEADER

Fiza Ismail is a Malaysian-born passionate mountaineer, an avid adventurer, and an accountant by qualification, known as ‘the accountant that climbs mountains, and not your boring typical accountant’. Figures, numbers and mundane processes didn’t really excite her as much, and her curious mind kept on exploring what is possible out there.
Having a passion for mountaineering, I learned throughout my experiences that the journey to the peak takes a lot of courage, dedication and commitment, no different to leadership itself. The resiliency to navigate life’s challenges, expectations of others, our pursuit of happiness, and sometimes we find ourselves alone on the journey.

MY FORK IN THE ROAD
Bombarded by expectations of the world, and the definition of what makes one ‘successful’ in life, she began to question, what if there is more to life than just a good-paying job and a routine life? What if there is more to life than this?

THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED
The road less travelled has taken her to climbing mountains all over Nepal, South America, Africa, India and Mongolia each holding a lesson of its own. More than the physical climb itself, it taught her invaluable connections with the people, navigating through doubts and insecurities, defining her own happiness and success, and standing true to what you believe in.
Climbing mountains is a ‘metaphor’ in life, set your intentions and focus on the end goal, and commit to making it happen. The test of grit, dedication and fearless execution. The road less travelled has taken her to incredible places of self-realisation, and she knows that you too can achieve more than you thought was possible.
HER ASPIRATIONS

Her vision is to aspire young and emerging leaders that they too can lead with authenticity, uphold their values and reach their true potential. John C Maxwell beautifully defines leadership as ‘A person who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way’
Do you have what it takes to ‘climb your MOUNTAINS?’
